I was cool...laser blue, right hand drive, integrated pillar pod, HUGE tires, nice gold racing style rims, HID lamps, all sorts of gov't import tags on the windshield, hint of some kinda roll cage inside? wtf..I dunno. Only down side....some oversized cannon muffler

Pretty cool to see one in person tho!

Its the only "true" tuner car out there, its spawned the world of little wannabe ricers. I dont really want a Skyline, but they are so legendary and coveted in the car world, it was pretty cool to see one.

You're kidding?! You of all people should know

I've seen a few running around here. Two GTS-t (2.0 I6 turbo, ~215hp) and a GT-R. Definately a cool looking car - the R32 is my favouritest of all Skylines... we'll be seeing more in Canada with the now-legal-for-import 15 year old Japanese cars.

Also now legal for import...

Ugh, everyone and their dog has Skyline GTS-t Type Ms here. They have either an RB20DET or an RB25DET, and aren't overly special (at least here). But there are a couple GTRs around, with the RB26DETT, now those are something to write home about.

Other than that you see a lot of Fairlady Z (300zx) with the VG30DETT, quick cars. And a lot of Silvias with CA18DETs, not bad I guess.

There'* one guy that swapped a RB26 into his Silvia, now thats a pimp car.

Starting to see a couple Toyota Soarers with the 1JZ-GTE engine (aka Mk4 Supra engine)

repinS: what car is that?

Toyota Mark II (JDM Cressida) - also 1JZ-GTE powered (stock, not swapped). The 1JZ is actually the Japanese MKIII motor - at 2.5L, it'* shorter stroke makes it a revvy little mother with an especially sweet midrange punch, with 276hp. MKIV got the 3.0L 2JZ-GTE.
