Introducing "Pure Evil"
Two days before we left for Wcbf I found this gem in a local machine shop rear bay 
Its a 1967 Pontiac* Acadian Sport Deluxe II, with plenty of drag mods
The motor is apart but complete, 454, not sure about much else with the motor. Will need a complete build.
The rest of the car is in great shape and only needs a good cleaning and going over.
These sponsors have to be replaced.

Not a scratch on the entire grill and trim, head lights work
All tub work is class A, gotta love the hockey stick :P

Theres the motor in all her glory, you can make out the wheelie bars too.

Shifter has trans brake, line lock and nitrous switches, the rest on the pod are fuel, water pump, fans, main, start.

Gotta monitor that stove! Fuel pressure is mounted on cowl beside the tach.

* Acadians were built from Chevelle stock from 66 to 70, from 62 to 65 they were built on Nova stock.
All 3 models were available in Canada and as such the Acadians were sold as Pontiacs from 63 to 75.

but...you'll need a bigger trailer for WCBF and the Woodburn drags next year.
I am assuming Nichole will be competing in Bone Evil

Beaumont was a trim line from an Acadian, at first acadians were treated as their own line.
From the nova registry
Mine is more like a Nova in the rear tail lights but a Chevelle in the front end, Dual headlights were smillar to a Malibu. Neither chevelle or Nova had dual headlights in 67.
From the nova registry
1962 -- Acadians were built on the Chevy II chassis:
Invader was equal to Chevy II model 100 (cheapest)
Canso was equal to Chevy II model 300 (middle of the trim line)
Beaumont was equal to Nova 400 (top of the line)
1963 -- Same as 1962 except Sport Deluxe option was added equal to Super Sport option.
1964 & up -- Acadian Beaumont was born on the Chevelle chassis.
Acadian Invader & Canso were retained on the Chevy II chassis with Canso being the top of the line.
Chevrolet Dealers in Canada were selling both the Chevelle and ChevyII/Nova. Some (BOP) Buick/Olds/Pontiac Dealers in Canada advertised they sold, Acadian, Pontiac and Buick. Thus treating the Acadian as a separate line. Of course in the end, they were titled as Pontiacs.

The car in question is partially correct. Acadian is actually the make, like Pontiac, not the model. The car above is an Acadian Beaumont, and I'm pretty sure it'* a '64-65, not '67. It'* basically the body of a Chevelle, but appears to be a '64-'65 body, not the smoother lined '67.
