Rush concert in Jacksonville....
Welp, I guess I needed a social life outside working on motors.
Spent Thursday night in the Jax Veterans Memorial Arena for a three hour concert by the band Rush.
Was a good concert...my head is still ringing.

Otherwise, it was fairly comfortable. The show wasn't even close to being sold out, so there was plenty of room.

Living in the limelight
The universal dream
For those that wish to seem
Those who wish to be
Must put aside the alienation
Get on with the fascination
The real relation
The underlying theme.....
Just had to go there... Glad you had a good time curt

it seats 15,000. We held a round of the NCAA tournament here a year ago. It gets used for hockey, Jacksonville University basketball, concerts, graduations, and at one point we had an arena football league.

I can't make jokes about the folks going to Wayne Newton or Neil Diamond concerts anymore...the median age of the crowd at the Rush concert was about 45 ish. I guess even the heavy metal rockers get old too

I am so envious... I've always wanted to see the great trio in person...
