I've been on 56k forever, but you don't see me crying "Oh mommy mommy, I'm not gonna post a text based message with a dail-up modem because I have to wait 5 seconds. Sniffle sniffle sniffle." Oh boo hoo! LOL j/k with ya will.
Being in the country doesn't allow high speed internet...I've learned to live with it.

At work (where I am right now) we got T1, all my friends have cable, and my collage has some godlike speed. Probably 40 T3'* linked together for all I know!
Going back to 56k at home isn't too bothersome because I play around on my xbox when I want the thrill of gaming. Try playing Counterstrike (shooter online game) for the PC with my connection....dear lord its damn near impossible!

Funny. After Cable internet, I don't have the patience. Oh, did I mention that the ambulance we passed on I-5 actually turned his lights off so we could pass?
