Replacing Transmission. Need to replace torque converter?

Default Replacing Transmission. Need to replace torque converter?

I am currently helping a friend change out his transmission in his 93 Grand Cherokee. Do we need to change the torque converter also? I really don't want to have to pull the flywheel but if I need to I will.

For some extra info. His Jeep Grand Cherokee is a 4.0L, 4x4, with the 42RE transmission. His current miles are at about 130,000 and the transmission we got has about 60,000. It came with the torque converter but I am not sure about how and how hard it is to pull the flywheel. Plus I don't know if I need too.
