Yeah, noone hurt.
One weird thing is about five feet from it, there is a pool of aluminum, obviously hardened, but I couldn't figure out what it was. It was completely shapeless. You can barely see it on the left edge of the first pic.
It is about 50 yards off the road. I drove by right after they put it out and didn't even see it. I had no idea why there were so many people and a fire truck on the edge of our land. I thought there was an accident of some sort.

Could the puddle have been from when the air released from the tire and blew molten wheel material out?? Got any physicists here that can speculate???

Have you priced scrap metal lately? With the Chinese economy taking off, it'* thru the roof!!
