Today this B*TCH pissed me off big time. I was on my way to pick up my boyfriend from work when I passed by this pretty decent looking little house for rent. So on the way back home (we live with his folks btw). I decided to stop by and take a look at the place, cause we've been disgussing the fact of getting our own place soon. Well I called up the phone number that was on the "for rent" sign and spoke to a women about the house...30 minutes later she shows up (mind you she lived two blocks away). She basically just pushed us through the house, asking all nine kinds of questions about us, some questions that shouldn't be asked and made a comment "well seeing as this is a one bedroom house, I don't think two guys would be comfortable in it". at that point I wanted to beat her down with the crutch she woddled in on. Then she had enough never to make us fill out some shitty generic looking "credit application" CREDIT APPLICATION, WTF!!!!! on a one bedroom, and I'm talking SHACK. Then she proceeded to tell us that she needed a $250 deposit on the house, $275 for the electricity deposit, and first and last months rent which was $300. I told her" ok....I'm a licensed diesel mechanic that shouldn't be a problem" then she was like "oh....well how long have you been a diesel mechanic, and where do you work" I told her I was self employed and she was like "well I'm going to need proof that you have an income" then she asked where my boyfriend worked and he told her, and she was like "oh ok, I used to work there, don't worry you'll find better...." I was like WTF first off he'* a welder and likes his job, and secondly where the **** does she get off being like that. I mean my god, what the hell does it matter where I work, who I'm with, ect. All we wanted to do was LOOK at the place. I finally told her no on the place and explained that when we lived out of state our rent was $500 on a town house, and I be damned if I'm going to pay that much for a 70 year old farm shack from some nosey bitch that probably snoops around the place when the renters are gone.

Yah she had no referances no proof of a realistate license or anything. She just kept making comments about "my husband doesn't like this, and my husband doesn't like that" and he doesn't like people to park their car in the yard. I was thinking to myself bitch if I'm going to rent this **** box I dont' need your honky *** husband barking at me. The only thing I liked about the place was it had a big car port to park my Bonneville under.

Guys, I swear to god if this turns into any kind of flame war, the thread is gone.
Lets not start anything over this at all, cause i could, unfortunately, see this turning bad fast.

Glad I ain't old enough to get my own place. If I came across somebody like that, I'd have to kick a$$.

I'm not worried, I'll find a place soon enough. I've had my run ins with people who rent out places. The sign on the front shouldn't say "for rent" instead "renters beware"

Oh well I just feel sorry for anyone that moves in there, seeing that nosey woman snooping around, and turning her in would be great revenge too. Nah, I'm not going to let it get to me. I just get a kick out of people around my area, and the way the act. I'd like to come up with a questionary form for realators to fill out. Next time I'll call the lady that sold my folks their house to come along with us to look for a place and talk with the people who are renting it out.
