Your call William, but you are missing out on the better things in life IMHO.

Personally, I rather enjoy the taste of venison, and it is a very lean meat (pretty good in stir-fry, but ya need a fair amout of oil to cook it in.) In two weeks, me and the Bonneville are making the roadtrip to Pennsylvania to refill the freezer. Pops called and the local population of whitetails is getting out of hand again on the farm...time for a little tasty-pest control.

Last years freezer filler:

I respect your decision.

Personally I couldn't live without meat. My girlfriend is a vegetarian, and I'm more than glad she doesn't mind me eating that stuff.

Is that what you call pushing that lady outta line at Wendy'*?

Honestly..for weight loss, at least in my case..if I could lower the amount of bread I consume...I'd probably be home free and lighter.

There are things called "game farms" where they pretty much raise white tail deer, elk and other "game" animals the same way they do cattle, pigs, chickens, etc.

I hate when people think they are clever and try to substitute deer for beef. This is where that foreign meat comment comes into play. My mouth knows the difference If any of my friends ever tried to trick me I would never eat at their house again unless I brought the food. It isn't cool to trick someone just because you think they ought to try it.

I don't personally like deer, I have tried it a few times and YUCK!! If I had a nickel for everytime someone has said "Well, you haven't had it the way I cook it" I could about buy a jjuicy porterhouse steak I've tried veganism and it is not for me. To each his/her own
