Why Not?
O.K. why is Smirnoff flavored vodka only 70 proof, when the strait vodka is 80. I usually get black cherry, which is 70 proof. After half a liter it has little affect. Today I got regualr vodka and had the same amount but feel f'd up. I look at the bottle and oh, 80 proof! Why the heck do they change it. I thought I was going nuts getting drunk on only a half Litre of vodka.

first off what the heck are you doing drinking half a litter of vodka on a tuesday night?
2nd the same bottle has to include the same amount of product so they probably have to subtract some of the alcohol in order to add the flavour.
