Hope it works out. I'm sure you could get out of it. Things like that **** me off.

EVERY time I am next to a cop at a red light I accelerate quicker than normal on the green, but not squawking the tires. I do it purposely to see if I get pulled over. I never have (yet) but I'd like to get pulled over for "accelerating too quickly" as someone told me cops can pull you over for. If I did I'd give the cop a piece of my mind and tell them they need to get their priorities straight.

But especially if you have a clean record I would not doubt you will get out of it.

hey, tough luck with with the ticket. try checking out torontostreetracing.com. they have a legal section on their forum with all kinds of stuff about racing and cops that think people are racing. worth a look - hope it helps.

also - good move hiring a lawyer. if he wins you'll probably save the $5000 bux when it comes time to renew your insurance.

oh forsure, my friends slightly retarded younger brother got hit by a truck... so he went out and spent his 15,000 on a crx and 18"*.. lol.. to say the least he now (after only having the car a few months) has to pay 700cdn a month to keep it on the road... works out to aprox 8k a year.. street racing is bad
