R.I.P
I just wanted to tell everyone that today is the worst day of my life. I have a dog name Marley who is 12 1/2 years old. He is a German Shepard. Had him since I was 7 1/2 years old. Hes been through everything with me. He was the one to comfort me when my father divorced my mother, when my sister had drug problems, and even when I had rough times through the year. Yesterday morning he started to throw up. He threw up from early morning to late at night. Then he start not to be able to move. I would have to pick him up and hold his leg up just for him to go Pee outside. We took him to the vet yesterday and they took blood and we were waiting today for the results. Today we brought him again they gave him a X-Ray and we found out he had Lung Cancer. It started from his spleen to his lungs. In the X-ray his lungs looked like bones. There was nothing we could do besides put him down. I had to let me favorite dog/friend/only brother I have go. It is the hardest thing right now to deal with. I just want everyone to know a GREAT dog just left this world...
I'm sorry that I brought this up, I know you guys/girls would cheer me up from posted it.
Thank you so much
-Erich

Remember you did right by Marley. You eased his pain and suffering. He'* not hurting anymore. Now he'* happy, in Heaven, and will be there waiting for you in a hundred years. Don't hurry thou, thats not many 'dog' years, he'll wait.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how this can be, a very similar thing happened with my German Shepherd when he got sick and passed on. They seem like people in their own right and its so hard to lose them. :(

When you lose someone you love, try to remember the good times.
It is sad that you won't see them in this world anymore.
Try not to be sad that he is gone, but be happy that he lived.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Thank you everyone for understanding. I know it was a smart decision we made its just hard losing him like this...
What kills the most is waking up today and not seeing him laying on his couch or in his kennel :( ..
