I got a private client who I setup a small home network for and they have Quickbooks for their in-home business. Sadly I never had much experience with Quickbooks because, well why?
Anyway I setup the main system that has the Quickbooks file to have another user to be able to log on. Then the new system across the room networks into the main system through an extra Win2k user setup on that main system. But when you shutdown the machines and start them back up it loses those settings and you have to File > Open > Search for main system through network > enter username and password > open Quickbooks file > enter username and password > then you're in.
That'* a hastle and I'm not sure how to set that up so its more automated before I go back on Monday. Anyone?
