Final hours of NHL season...
NHL decesion about this season will be made tommarow. Meetings end at 11 AM EST, and there is a press conference here where the Penguins play at 1. I have heard several different reports tonight, but just going to wait until tommarow for sure. A 28 game season could be salvaged, which is at least something. The playoffs run until June anyways.

I just got off the phone with a friend and we talked about the NHL labour strife, hopefully the last minute talks will yield some success, but I have my doubts, both sides have banded together and it seems middle ground..is...far off...

Yea, I heard there is a 7 million dollar difference between the two sides. And it seems like the NHLPA Commisioner (or whatever) is being a real ******* about everything, and the players really want to play now, and just stop all this bullshit.

I can respect that you like hockey and it'* of value to you, but I couldn't care less if the NHL never played again. It was pretty ballsy on their part to go on strike in the first place. When baseball when on strike alot more people cared and wanted them to come back. I've hardly heard anyone voice concerns about "oh no there'* no more hockey on TV".
