Post your story!
Of course i mean the story of how you came to BC and why you keep comin back!
When i first came across Bonnevilleclub.com i was searching for a site that might tell me how to run power wires to the trunk. Eventually i found a link from google that lead me directly into the techinfo, which had a wonderful write up with pictures and all. after printing that out i soon forgot about the mysterious site i had found. i went on completley and blissfully unaware that i had stumbled across a goldmine. eventually on a search to find out more information on modifications i could do to my car i came across another write up in techinfo! well it fasinated me and i decided to explore this odd club. i posted a general question about a noise i was hearing when i reved to 2000 rpms in the 1992-1999 forum. within minutes will responded with an answer, and then yelled at me to put my cars year in my sig, so no one would have to ask. well from that moment on i was hooked. i told my best friend about it the next day and he thought i was insane.
i visit BC every day now, even if im not posting, im always reading, and ill always come back. this internet website, is not just a site to alot of people here. me included. this is another place with good people and great friends. everybody knows how to joke, and everyone is happy to just talk about whatever interests them. this place is more then anyone who is not truley part of it could understand. It is a place with not just friends, but our very own internet family and I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful community.
thank you all for being there when i needed help with anything, even going beyond just the aspect of car trouble. you all help me with my everyday life all the time! never change!

I first came here in the summer of 2002 asking some questions about a 1995 SSE I was looking to purchase. I didn't end up getting the car, but I ended up staying because my mom had a 1995 SSE. Then we sold the 95 and bought the 00 SSEi, and then just a few months ago my brother bought a 2000 SLE. I bought the Riviera in May of 2003 after looking for a nice used Bonneville but came up empty handed. I did however drive by this nice looking Maroon Riviera on my way to school everyday for about a month and my dad told me I should check it out because it looked like a nice car. Just so happens the guy had just lowered the price to $5,500 that same day and I bought it. end of story.

I was googling for an answer to a stumbling issue that I had on my 99. Two or three pages deep in a results page was a link to a post here. Since then it'* been like a cult for me....just could never leave!! So much learn and such a friendly atmosphere.
Custom....BTW, the day you joined is the day my wife and I got married (just noticed that)!

One of the members here kept telling my son about this "great site with really cool people" so my son joined up. I didn't realize what a treasure of wealth he found but I knew he was spending a lot of time here so I decided to check it out for myself (you know how nosey us women can be sometimes ) and I joined, started learning a bunch of stuff, having fun, meeting friends and next thing I knew I had taken over the computer. This site has saved me a bunch in repair costs. Thanks one and all!!

I was looking to buy a Bonneville, after many years of envying the 96-99 SSEi body style. I'm sure I found this site on Google, although I don't remember for sure. I joined with the username "dabomb" when I started doing research and asking questions about all my buying options. "dabomb" was later deleted and I re-joined as "scottydl" around the time I bought my '98 SLE. Awhile later, the upper intake blew up and my Bonny caught on fire while at the dealership. I replaced it with my '99 Aurora.
Now I'm hooked and I can't stay away, despite the fact I no longer own a Bonneville (although I probably will again someday)! :?
