Default Satellite Radio

Alright, so I'm thinking about getting Satellite Radio, but I'm trying to decide which one I should get. I'm leaning toward Sirius, because my parents got one of the radios as a gift and would be willing to give it to me, and, of course, Howard Stern (god I miss him, haha). Has anyone had any experience with satellite radio? I'd like to hear some opinions from both sides before I commit to anything.

Heres one thing to Note about it.
I had it.
"had"

But got rid of it because its like listing to radio over the internet. it has the tinny sound with all highs..

Its not better then radio quality and most of the time not as good as it.
I herd Both XM and Sirius. Both sound the same.

But if your someone that doesn't care about having CD quality in your car.. then go for it

Mainly just getting it for the talk shows and the sports, so it doesn't really matter to me, but I'd like it to replace my whole FM dial, so idk. Cincinnati radio stations just suck ***

I dunno, I think it'* all in how you get it to the deck. I had mine wired in and it was CD quality to me. BillBoost is right though, it'* mostly about the programming, since they cost the same/month. I chose XM because they had better dance music, and because they DON'T have Howard ******* Stern (pretty much despise him). Other consideration is the hardware, XM has the Delphi units, which I found were really high quality compared to the Sirius units.

What do you consider dance music? Just curious. I happen to be a HUGE techno fan, and frankly, XMs artist list didn't catch my eye as much as Sirius did. I'm really into Dieselboy, AK1200, Dj Dara, etc. mostly jungle. How are they with that?

Weird, I had mine wired in through the FM antenna and thought it was awesome, nice and bass-y, not sure what to tell you.

As for dance music, I'm into mostly house, trance, and europop/dance so XM is great for that. Not so great for jungle to be honest. Sounds like between that and Howard Stern, Sirius is probably the better choice for you.

I've got XM and I also have it wired in like Ryan.
IMO with the help of the 7 band with the Bose system,it sounds pretty good to me

I'm mostly into the metal/classic rock so i'm pretty much stuck on 4 or 5 stations
