been gone, wondering whats new?
hello fellow bonneville forum friend!
Last time I was here was right after the switch to the GM forum format and I am glad to see that the site seems to have reverted slightly back to its bonneville roots with the changed home page. I haven't been on due to moving to an area where having simple dial-up internet costs upwards of $50 a month (money I do not have!) so I now rely on free wi-fi at a rest area a mile from my new residence! anyhow, I guess i was just wondering how everyone is and see if I have missed any forum news or bonneville news that I should know about or missed. Now that I am settled in at my new place, I should be online more often. I am thinking of asking my neighbor if I can pay him $10 a month to get the password for his router so i have better internet access!
keep up the work on the forum, although I am biased I think that pontiac (specifically the bonneville) should be more prevalent even though the forum is more vast now.
cheers,
Richard

Hi Richard. Welcome back and thanks for checking in on us. We're still chasing the dust bunnies around the place and looking for some opportunities to make the forum that much more awesome.
Nothing better than free WiFi..huh?

Somethings are the process of seeing writing on the walls most cant. Bonneville and Pontiac are no more. We have to rethink and relearn or die. The place isn't something we can keep afloat on some cheap Forum hosting service. Realities are to grow with what we have available to us. Our new domain name and covering GM insures us stabilty. But I myself only have one GM car, it is a Bonneville, and we will continue to make sure it remains the lead vehicle while we allow, give courtesy, and bring the unique mix of Solid Tech base with casual socializing that made us, to the rest of GM owners.

That was our plan. Pull in Grand Prix, Regal, Monty carlo, etc. The problem is with Bonneville in the URL it makes it hard to attract other car types. GMforum.com helped up add those cars. We have little activity on most GM brands, but the brands we were interested in are picking up.
