Who'* this fool?
Me in a 2006 C6 convertable -AWESOME!!! Just wish it'd would've had the 6-spd.
Pic was taken yesterday at the Minneapolis Auto Show.
There were a handful of nice cars, but I was rather disappointed. I sat in the M3 Convertable (nice ), a SRT-6 Crossfire (decent, but I'll have my 4-dr sedan supercharged or go V8 for a coupe), BMW 330 Xi (just like my brothers, only my brothers is a fwd 330ci -Just sitting in the car made me realize why my brother liked my Bonneville -can you say legroom -heck even the GTO had ALOT more rear seating and legroom than this).
The GTO was pretty dang schaweet -Jason (BonneMeMn) and I both agreed that the seats, although very similar in style, the GTO'* seats are almost better than the C6'*.
Sat in a few other cars, including the GP and B-ville GXP'*, and I would rather have the B-ville for looks, but for power I believe the GP has my heart.
Biggest let down of the day was the Cadillac Sixteen -it was just a clay model with glass windows (one piece on each side with the door and window lines painted on, the wheels were bolted to the clay, and the interior consisted of carpet with head rests and half a steering wheel sticking out about 3 inches below the windows, and the guages were just cheap stickers which looked like they'd been stolen from a fisher price toy.
The Chrysler ME-four12 was awesome, but I wish they'd have the engine visible -at least a display model.
For Ford they had the GT and the new concept coupe based of the Shelby hardtop race car of the 60'*, but both were cordoned off so they could only be seen.
The Cadilla XLR = SUPREME coolness. I'd own one of these any day -the Bose stereo in the sounded pretty damned good, but I wonder how those paper cones would be in 1-2 years with all that bass.
Alot of cars and Manufacturers there. My favorite 4-dr would have to go to the Lexus GS430.
