my dream come true (questions now)
i got an ipod
figured with my new job, and $1000 paycheck i coud handle to fork out the cash finally.
i had no intension of buying one at all, but i went into ace hardware, where i used to work, and i seen it...(it was in the radioshack dept ) i got it for cost because they love me there. so i saved $10, got it for $290 plus tax
its a 4th geneation 20gb model. i didnt have enough balls to pay $100 more for the 40gb. im uploading all my songs right now, and its taking forever, even through firewire.
no more burning cds for my car...
check it out

Does your amp or HU have audio input? I love my MP3 player (Sony) on long trips. I run it through a cassette adapter for hours. Or the DVD player. Great sound.

Got mine last April. Lets see I think I have 2,500 songs on it. Drove to Chicago with it on none stop. All you do is tune you're radio to FM 88.7 and put the transmitter up on the dash. You have to buy the transmitter speratly, $20 somethin' I think. Who needs CDs anyways?

ok im stumped...
i uploaded all 4863 songs i had onto it....however they are super disorganized on my ipod, such as, i have 4 different artists called, yellowcard, Yellowcard, yellow card and Yellow card!
on my computer the names are all correct, believe me, i spend hours and hours renaming all my downloads. so i found out that the ipod organized by ID3 tags. is there a way to correct all the tags, cuz there is no way in hell i am going to edit the tags of 5000 songs individually. in itunes there is an option to reverse the tags, but that didnt work for me. is there a software to delete all ID3 tags, and then have the ipod use the naming structure i already have?
