Ah, but if I were around all the time, than I wouldn't be living up to my self-applied moniker, now would I?
To be honest, I wouldn't be around now if it wasn't for getting some rambling IM from someone I don't even know. Luckily, according to their little rant, they're now banned.
However, I'll try to stop by every once and a while. You know, maintain some sort of presence.
As for the Bonneville... why would you want to see that old thing? I mean, she hasn't had an actual paintjob in... damn, it HAS been years. No front bumber, black plastic right front fender... yeah, she'* not in very good condition as of now. And now, I'm having more and more mechanical issues. The engine mounts are bad, I haven't flushed the coolant since I got her, the radiator'* reservoir is cracked near the top, my intake manifold gasket has been leaking for a while...
Yep, she'* a mess. As befitting a Bonneville, though, she keeps plugging away, regardless. One day I'll repay Bonnie for her faithfulness but, as it stands now, all projects are on hold due to conspicuous lack of funds.
So, with all that said, if you still really, REALLY want a shot of my 'beleaguered Bonnie', I guess I could get one up. However, I'm betting she'll make the record for 'ugliest Bonneville' if I do, hehe
Anyways, thanks a bunch for the welcome, man. It'* nice to see old friends again At times, my times on the Bonneville Club seem like they come from another lifetime. It'* weird looking back at my old messages, and realizing they're only a couple of years old. My priorities have changed a lot since my old car searches.
It was good talking to you, man. See ya around
