Please Drive Safe
Please drive safe and be careful in all weather conditions...This is a girl at my school that lives near me that is in serious condition at the hospital. I dont know her all that well, but we know each other and my sister and hers are friends too. Here is the picture of her wreck:
Here is the news article:
Please be careful everyone...she lives one street over from me, and 1 house from my friend. This is scary to me.
Its a chevy silverado pickup with the fold out doors too.
Here is the news article:
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Beaver Street (U.*. 90) was closed in both directions near Halsema Road Friday afternoon as police and rescue personnel respond to a crash of a vehicle that briefly trapped the driver.
Police said the car landed upside down in a water-swampy area with a tree on top of it just after 3 p.m. The teenaged driver was extracted and rushed to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center.
Police said Haley ****, 16, was driving west on Beaver Street when he vehicle crossed the road and ended upside down with a tree on top of it.
Rescuers said the falling tree kept the car from slipping under water, and probably saved her life.
Police think the wet street contributed to the crash.
"It'* hard to say if she was speeding, or whatever -- that'* still under investigation. But right now, it looks like she just lost control."

she hit a tree in the swamp beside the road...this is florida, full of swamps. the tree saved her life from drowning, but crushed the drivers cab, which is why she is in critical condition

From reading the article sounds like she prolly hydroplaned, overcorrected and lost control. Water can do strange things to vehicle handling!
Hope all works out and she is OK!!!!!!

WOW!! That is scary! Things like that make you realize how short life is and this could have had a tragic outcome. I hope she continues to recover.
