[i remember once i pulled the power cord out of my VCR, wove the cables together, then plugged it in to the outlet. blew out the fuses for half of the house. i was in middle school at the time]

Want a lesson in torture testing? I had a Radio Shack RC car a long tie ago, ran on 8 AAs. I wired in another 8 just to see what would happen. Thing went really, REALLY fast, then caught on fire....fun while it lasted, though...
