theres tons of tutorials out there for that.. most are for something that diffuses the light more though, not just reflects it (a white paper..)

bottom line is if you want good flash buy an sb-600 or another off-camera flash!
a definite improvement over the standard flash though.

That'* pretty neat, myself I have the 'better bounce card' made of white foam taped onto a big strobe. But for real lighting, my setup:

ive been researching there for a while... what kind of flash is that? im looking into buying a couple that i can trigger wirelessly for portraits..

Technically for pre-1988 Minolta AF (I get TTL metering when mounted on a film body), but it'll work with the wireless triggers manually. I got this one for $25
It may be easier to find as the Vivitar 636AF.
