I dont like Pimp my Ride. Its actually pretty dumb. I saw one episode, this girl had a Toyota Landcruiser... The thing wasn't really that bad, but i think they made it worse.. She had nice APC (i think) seats in there, they actually looked really good, they took those out and gave her stock square low backrest seats that looked very uncomfortable... And they put a fountain in it! A fountain!!!! What is the use of that LOL....
Oh and they put a screen in the back, on the floor, that you have to watch from outside the truck.. Kinda dumb idea if you ask me. Oh and the drivers side door was bent on the bottom front of it and didn't look like it closed right, that'll be prone to leaking!
I do like overhaulin though, they do really good jobs on there. And i would LOVE to see a bonnie on there!! I'm in on this letter to Disovery Channel for sure id love to see it.

pimp my ride is just so west coast customs can show off and so xibit dosent fall of the face of the earth. they always do really stupid things to cars without thinking of wether its practical or not. one guy needed the space in the back of his pick up for his job... his JOB!!! that means leave him room back there so he can load car parts around in, so he can make a living. but they dont care. overhualin is a great show, the cars look awe3some and not stupid and they do everything right. i dont think pimp my ride even touches engines. but fooze is a great man with a lot of generosity and imagination.

I'll have to agree with the opinions of Pimp My Ride. Putting a Bonneville on there will only result in a ridiculous embarrassment to the car. It would have at least 3 plasma screens, 5 PS2s, 3 XBoxes, and 37+3/4 inch wheels. Plus they would paint it bright orange with purple and chartreuse graphics. Oh, yeah, don't forget the hydros and Piper Cub wing on the trunk.
Overhaulin', on the other hand, is a classy show. Leave it to Discovery/TLC to do it right. The SEMA episode last night could have been the best I've seen yet. From what we saw of the car'* owner I don't think you could pick a more humble, deserving man for a muscle car makeover. The huge team working on the car were absolute pros, and they put emphasis on classic Mustang vibe and styling. How about that 514 c.i. crate motor! Wow! Watching that show just made me happy for the recipient of the car. The basis of Overhaulin' is far more sentimental than Pimp My Ride could ever be. But all you have to do is look at the history of the respective networks that air the shows to find out why...

Pimp my ride is all staged, do you really think that guy with the 300z [i think that'* what the car was], screwed his car up that bad? Com'on, no way in friggin' hell could somebody could **** their car up that bad. Now, I agree that they put a ton of ugly, worthless, useless **** in their cars, and I hate that the most. They took a beautiful Trans-Am, and put a ton of crap in it.. and painted it BLUE?????????? WTF?? Yeah, Blue. Idiots .

To be honest but still a man lol, I seriously almost cry when I watch those shows and see how happy the person gets but only if they seem deserving and give proper thanks. The only thing I didnt like on that SEMA Overhaulin episode was when the guy would stick out his tongue and wiggle his face in amazement, hahaha.
