Over a year smoke free and BAM, craving outta NOWHERE
Used to be a heavy smoker, quit over a year ago and just sitting here at the PC, I get a strong urge, almost uncontrollable one, to step outside and have a smoke! arghhh. It helps that we keep a totally smokefree home, it doesnt help that I know MrsCrzydmnd'* cigs are right out on the porch!
I won't go smoke, but I had to vent off somewhere

Put down the lighter and step away from the tobacco!
You take one puff and you'll have to go through all the quitting and withdrawal BS again.
Go have a beer instead...

I've only had one vice to really give up and did that over a year ago.
I don't plan to quit smoking and the occasional "beverage" now and then...

I plan to live to a very OLD and GRIPEY age, spending my last withered years living with my kids, payback for all those fundraisers they bring home from school

HE HE I used to smoke too for five years. I still had a craving 3-4 years later. I would say this is one of many battles to come. May be different for you though. Good luck and don't do it.
