How the heck do you people fill up so much hard drive space? I have a 250 GB hd and in 2 years have only 12 Gigs filled so far of which software is probably half that. I would trade capacity for speed though.

I've been thinking about getting a new drive my 250gb has filled up pretty fast but I would have to work alot harder to do the same for 1TB

Nothing new for me, We have had a couple "test versions" here for some time, combined with another 50 systems in engineering being stress tested 24x7 to determine what the failure rate is on the drive. Dell tests all of the drives they sell in their systems and frequently only use certain brands due to the price/expected failure rate. Keep in mind hard drives are the number one failure on any pc and cost the company the most in warranty costs. Solution = Use the best hdds.
