You must have missed alot...I kept up with the series right through the Sentinels, which takes place between Macross and Masters, but is a separate story as it takes BOTH Admiral Hunters to Fantoma. SDF-3 came about after the last battle at Macross, and was heavily based on Zentraede tech and ship design.

Gawd I'm such a geek

The SDF-3 was Breetai'* flagship but the Humans tore it apart to make it look like the SDF-1 so the Masters would be confused when they jumped to Fantoma/Tirol. I've seen all the shows and read all the books, except for the Master Gambit which took place years after the Sentinels campaign and Earth was freed from the Invid. I'm a Robotech geek, have even played the RPG(pencil and paper). That qualifies me as Robotech Geek Über Alles.

I couldn't remember if the'3 was a homebrew or a rehash of Zentraedi tech...I do know the captured satelite factory played a part with that.

Word about this movie is that it is only going to be shown at film festivals, then afterwards released to DVD...Blueray I hope.

As for your Geek Uber Alles, I have the orignal Comico Macross series, most in good to near mint shape, alot of the Sentinels and RTM (storyline between SDF-1 arival and Zentradi arival) from Darkhorse, all the Palladium game books (even the Macross Plus books), AND the complete Macross trading card deck in MINT shape.

So unless you have the Matchbox toys, you're gonna have to give a little more to get Uber status w/ me
