I would rather have the iphone then my treo 750p I would have paid 100$ more to get the iphone anyday.

Just a little something.

Despite a wide range of claims from analysts about the iPhone'* sales on opening weekend, the most official word comes from AT&T'* spokesman Mark Siegel who indicates that the iPhone sales on opening weekend were more than they'd sold in the first month of any other wireless device in AT&T'* history.

AT&T also notes that the iPhone activation problems should be entirely resolved at this time, though the EDGE network appears to have had a temporary outage yesterday.

Meanwhile, as of last night, Apple'* retail inventory tool revealed that iPhones were sold out in 95/164 Apple retail stores.

And this happens to anyone who plays with any kind of cell phone. It'* not the device'* fault though, it'* the moron'* fault who can't keep his/her eyes on the road.

That woman had $16,000 in her hands, not $100,000. I would have loved to be that guy who got handed $800 for nothing. That woman was an idiot.

The iPhone IMO is an excellent marriage of form and function, with plenty of features.

Lol ipos.....Thats really funny. To give my 2 cents on this situation...i think the phone just isn't worth the pricetag....i have been using sony erriccson since my first phone when i was 14....you just cant go wrong with sony...i have had my sony erriccson d750i for about 3 years now....mind you this was one of the craziest phones out at the time...2 mp camera....mp3....(4GB sd)and everything you can imagine including the 2 led light for flash that can be used as a neat little flashlight. For 3 year old technology this phone sure is the ****. A little note for everybody going crazy with the touchscreen...i had a sony erricson p900 in highschool....it looks just like the ipos...and had a touchscreen..mind you that phone was released in 2002...lol 5 years ago.

For anybody looking to buy a new phone i recommend this website... www.gsmarena.com has a bunch of reviews for every single phone produced to date and has many picture and insightful info for people looking to buy a new cell phone. Check it out.

I doubt that Sony phone had a touchscreen anything like the iPhone'*.

The DIY photo machine at Walmart has a touchscreen too. Is it the same technology as the iPhone? lol

CNN, and the news stations up here were saying that phone service went down yesterday because too many people were activating their new iphones I like my LG, I don't need all the bells and whistles, I just want a phone that I call home check on the kids and find out what O'Neil is making for supper

Of course to be fair, Jessica will want the new phone, and I think that in time when it finally reaches Canada we may get it for her. I think for people who use their phones for work or other important things, this iphone just maybe kind of cool.

Heres one thing im gonna have to repeat again..

The iPhone is no where near the same as any other phone.

NO other phone have a Multi touch screen that you DO NOT need a pen or something to use.

NO other phone can you so easily change settings, ad contacts, make calls, play music & movies.

NO Other phone out that has visual Voice mail.

NO Other phone can you brows the internet just like on a PC.

Its new. people are either afraid of change or think that just cuz you can lessen to music and make a call thats its all the same. its not. is all new when it comes to this phone.

Do not trust what you see on the internet or Forums or News.. Go to a Apple or Cingular store or watch the full 20min long video on apple.com about it. you will see.

Sorry if i sounded a bit harsh about the apple product...its just everybody just hype'* up the product as if the technology hasn't been around...i know the touchscreen is very different, i was just merely pointing out the technology has been around for some time now...not as advanced ofcourse but you know what i mean. Again i apalogize if i was taking a harsh approach against the apple company.

heres the thing.. the technology may have been around.. but no one was using it

There lots of technology'* that are already been made but no one is selling or using it yet. so when they do. it is "new"
