Ok so for like the last like 4 hours my Internet has been really Lagging.

I restarted the Cable modem and my router and PC.

Still doing it, so it must be something with RoadRunning Cable.

Antone else having any problems :? :?:


and just for anyone that doesn't know, a Ping to Google "Should" be around ~40-60ms


And the weird part is just my Pings are Bad!!!
My download speeds are still 10mbp +

what kind of router do you have?

Doesn't matter i know its not that

But its a Linksys, i forget the model

But i know how to trouble shoot, its my job

I know its nothing with my PC or Router. might be my cable modem going bad though :(

Reason I asked was because my old Apple Express router was doing that same thing, so we replaced it and it worked fine

Pings are slow, Internet slow, but Downloads are fast.

Ping isn't really related to download speeds... Look at the satelite internet. You can download extremely fast, but you ping is still going to be around 200 playing games.\


Why not do a tracert? See where it'* going up...

I haven't used it but you dont have to,to know it sucks for that
