Indianapolis - Police are looking for a driver who may have caused a deadly collision on the city'* near west side.
Investigators say 43-year-old Stacy Barnes of Indianapolis was driving east on West 16th Street when a tan or brown Pontiac Bonneville traveling next to her veered into her lane.
Barnes went into on-coming traffic and hit a Chevy truck head-on. Barnes died at the scene.
Police say Barnes was on her way to the hospital to visit her mother who had been in an earlier car accident. The driver of the truck suffered a minor injury. The Bonneville did not stop for the accident.
"Whoever did it, just to have it in their heart to come forward. Just come forward because you hurt not just me and my sisters but you hurt a lot of people," said Erica Ferguson, Barnes' daughter.
If you have any information, call CrimeStoppers anonymously at 262-TIPS.

I dont know why people leave the scene of an accident, a deadly one at that, when they should know that they will get caught eventually. Doesnt make sense!!!

Just remember here, The person in the Bonneville may have just came close to the line and the other person Panicked. so the person in the Bonnie may not even have know they did anything.
You dont know the other side of the story, some people blame others even thought it wasn't there fault.

Yesterday when I was coming from Advance Auto, a Ford Fusion veered into my lane and almost hit me. Luckily, I fixed my horn a few week ago and I was able to alert that idiot I was there and he moved back over.
Good luck finding that bonneville, there are many tan or brown bonnevilles out there. What if it'* a BC member who rarely posts
