Watch as class delineation grows. Voting time is coming and the more companies outsourcing to the china and India markets will force more Americans into the lower class.

Even a partially educated grade 6 child can figure it out.

Domestic performance works hard to support only domestic companies and if you have the choice in whatever you buy Buy North America. USA, Canada, and at worst Mexico.

No this is not a plea for purchases on my site but a plea to think about the long-term effect of the purchases you make everyday.

Look at it this way.

If you go to a “dollar store” ( because you were just laid off from your middle class job) China will be the manufacture of the product you buy. Now you are paying china for taking your job. Your new job will most likely be for less pay so you will need to shop with “cheap” being on the top of the list.

I Dare you to Look at what you buy and who you are supporting.

Don't want to start a fight or anything but Bush needs to get out of office. We need to get away from a centralized govt for a few years and let the states get out of debt.

I have been watching this over quite some time and watching large business push the class delineation in the US and Canada. Canada needs to pay attention because the Canadian government has been a US government who&$ for a while now. Seems Canada does not want to become part of the Euro. So Canadian markets and growth depends very much on US growth.


Lou Dobbs has been running a series called "Exporting America" It profiles how companies are moving hundreds of thousands of jobs overseas.


I have no political favor in this case really I am just tired of buying product from china at a detriment to us, Canadian jobs.

The list of traitors so far is very big. In some ways it is very hard to be a 100% North American supporter but at least try to remember to think American when buying product.

Try and remember the communist country known as China…they have no problem with sending children to work in appalling conditions. This is one reason why it is so cheap. There are so many people (the raw commodity china offers is cheap inhumane labor) in china that in many life times they will not see fair or competitive labor markets. This means if a employee in china stands up for the right for equal treatment they will be fired and there are literally millions ready to replace that person.

I know it is daunting to try and take responsibility for every purchase but try voting and participating in the political process to stop outsourcing to countries with less than humane labor processes.

I can’t say who but I support both Canadian and US companies and continue to avoid china crap.

I repeat this is not a democratic rant I am not a democrat but I still believe the movement and loss of control from this labor movement is down right stupid and shortsighted. Often people run from thinking about issues so daunting by attaching political association to them so they don’t have to think about them.

When I buy stock springs to use for stock measurements for our lowering springs often they come from Canada. Actually I always buy directly from gm and more than half the time the springs end up coming from a Canadian Factory.

Yes, and hondas are made in the US... Money still goes back to who knows where... Point being if I where to buy all canadain, or for that matter all american products I would probably die... well I dont know about that, but its close...

at least GM isnt on there. I dont think the problem is a centralized government, the problem is the "free trade" bs that politicians like to use. I would like to see some tariffs on overseas products, even if its only light to moderate. Thats how they used to do things before the Civil War and IT WORKED. After the Civil War, the government became increasingly more dependent on income tax for revenue. This would make sense now especially, since we are in a recession. If you want to get the economy going, lower income taxes and raise tariffs so that industry has a chance to get back on its feet. Sorry this turned into a history lesson.

I am assuming that the list is the list of "traitors" but my question is how can companies like Allstate and State Farm Insurance be on that list. They offer insurance not manufactured goods. They are both based in Illinois.

This campain is being spear headed by corprate america in a bid to lower the bottom line and maximize profits. If we as working class north americans cannot produce more with less then those jobs will go else where. I work in the resource sector and we are challeged by competing countries and global marketing all the time, our foucus is always shifting in order to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Macho and Pontiac dad. combine both of your points to this end.

The American Company has been forced by the lack of control over competition to compete in the same way. Cost cutting on the labor front. But why not push support for better politics. I believe if companies gave employees the information they needed they would be more than happy to assist in supporting pushing bills that support American job security. Most don’t respond until it’* too late.
