What even worse is when you see this kind of idot move in person.
The base I'm on has a auto hobby shop, think of a full service station but you do the work, every so ofter I get some clown next to me that just got a $20 set of Craftsman tool and now can fix anything w/o even cracking a POS Chiltons book. Cracks the A/c,
or says- I replaced the calper but I have no brakes. The best one I ran into- 3.1 Chevy V6 The guy takes off the front valve cover and front 3 head bolts, and starts to tug on the head to change the gasket! I am NOT making this up! He stood there confused till I broke down and asked he truly wondered why the head didn ot come off, So I let him know he missed a few steps.

Everyone has a right to be stupid and be tolerated. However, after the person refuses to listen to advice repeatedly, or continues to do dumb crap, I lose patience quickly.
Believe it or not, there was a time in my life when I didn't know squat about cars
I did stupid stuff, but learned from my mistakes, and was smart enough to listen to advice when it was offered.
