Gas prices
Now I know this has been done before, but since right now the CAD is at par if not still above the USD, I thought it would be fun to compare. This time we can take the , oh the exchange rate causes this that or whatever, out of the equation.
Right now gas is at a about 94.9 per liter so that is 3.58$ for the cheap stuff.
Oh yeah , I'm in Northern Ontario

Ya, thats not going to adjust for a long while if ever. Even more chance for companies to pocket more money, that and fuel taxes and GST/PST vig will always have to be included.

I know it won't adjust, but I just wanted a level playing field for comparing this time since it is always brought up that the dollar is not the same. Well now it is, hehe.

Well...if I did my calculations right, 87 octane would be roughly around $0.72 USD per Liter here...we're running between $2.65-$2.75 USD per gallon around Lansing, MI.
I think I did that right. I'm not sure what you guys mean by the "92.8c"
Apparently I don't know much about Canadia

I believe I paid 2.53 USD for a gallon of 87.
Whats ironic is they say that crude oil prices are directly tied to gas prices, now crude is up into the 80s I believe per barrel, and gas prices are lower than when crude was in the 60s and 70s if memory serves.
