Can't even sell a NES on craigslist without this!
Received FOUR of the same emails, all with different names, banks and dollar amounts.
Hello sir or madam,
I'm Rose, and am intrested in purchasing your NES with NEW 72 pin connector, Games, and Accessories. I will purchasing this for my son that is in school in AFRICA, so this item will need to be shiped to AFRICA. Will you accept a DEUTCHE BANK cheque in excess of $800 USD CURRENCY? I Can trust you to finely take your ONE HUNDRED FIFTY dollars USD and place the remaining balence into my shipping advisors account that is located in? Thanks you greatly and plese get back to me soon as possibel.
REGARD. ROSE
Has to be the most pathetic excuse of a scam I have ever seen.

So what do they expect as the "actual amount of the item"?! I've been a buyer/seller on eBay and other sites for far too long to not understand that what its listed is THE PRICE.

Pathetic yes...but they still manage to nap some people. The best thing to do is to report it - I'm not sure if craigslist has a place to report scams, but searched and found this
