i dont like the 6th gens that much, i like mine (5.5th gen) the best but the new one will take a close 2nd.. i cant like it more than mine lol

I guess it'* all opinion... I've always thought that the last good Maxima was in the early 2000s. That was a good looker, a solid performer AND it had a stick. The new one is a luxo fat-boy, with a transmission that annoys the crap out of me (yes, I've driven one many times) and an odd interior. So maybe they changed the things I disliked? Possibly, but I still can't get over that front end...

I had for 2 days a 1990 Maxima with a 3.0L V6. It was actually really nice! I ended up making $20.01 off of it. Maximas have always been some of the nicest sedans I've ever driven. The new one really does have terrible headlights, but the back doesn't look too shabby.
