He'* the 4th to do that with only 1 win in the season. Dale Jr. beat him to the championship twice in a row in the Busch series, so I guess it was Matt'* turn. I'd have liked to see Dale win, too, but if he has any kind of career remotely like his father'*, we'll see him there.
Now it'* down to Jimmie Johnson and Dale Jr. for 2nd

I'm happy for Kenseth. Seems like a decent guy. Hey, ya don't have to win all of them, but their team'* consistent finishes is what kept him on top. That in itself is worthy, IMO. To take the track week after week with 42 other cars, and to stay running with them most all the time, not as easy as it looks.
Will be interesting to see how second place shakes out. I can see both Jr. and Jimmie running strong at that track.

Homestead/Miami is gonna be a RIOT. With the 3 different degrees of banking, they should be able to go 3-wide in the turns, if anyone has the balls to go high into the 20°.
This should dramatically increase the speeds at that track, and in that sense, the advantage would go to Dale. This is gonna be fun to watch. Don't miss the Truck or Busch series there......this is the first time since the revamp that they've run at that track, and the two other races will give a good idea of how the Winston Cup race will shake out.
I'd LOVE to be there in person for that race.
