hey, i was just wondering, i have herd from many different ppl including my car crazy uncle, that the 3800 will last till 250,000 miles easy, what happens after that? does it blow up? and im talking about the engine block itself along with the pistons and crankshaft etc, the major parts, does anyone think it is possible for that engine to last till 1,000,000 miles? bc i wanna shoot for it 100%,

Keep a regular routine of maintenance (oil, plugs, filters, lubes, fluids, etc.), fix things that break, rattle, squeal or don't work as soon as you can, stay on top of the paint and sheet metal for cancer prevention (rust) and don't beat the crap out of your car. Take care of your car and it will take care of you.
I look forward to the day when you announce hitting the 1,000,000 mile mark.

LOL would that make the car worthless or priceless at 1,000,000 miles??? im sure most of everything would have been replaced 3-4 times over so itd be due for another overhaul, at that point itd be like a new car but with 0 miles hahaha (on a analog guage 999,999 flips back to all 0s hehe) or awesome with a digital guage reading 1,000,000 miles
Good luck, well keep our fingers crossed
mine was worn out at 167,000 but thats a 94 that sat for 3yrs with no starts, harsh winters, and i think one of the bearing are going out due to a hard knock and lack of power (lot of other problems too, but those are to poor maintenance issues resulting from previous owners, got it free from dad who loved it but didnt spend the $$$ showing it)
now she sits in the garage to be completely overhauled... then on to the million mile point
