New Job
Well
Just got off the phone with my new employer
I start April 9th.
I love my job and the amazing projects we work on (I work for a prominent architectural office), but our move to downtown Toronto just doesn't rub me the right way. I was offered more money, 1.5x overtime, paid lunch, 3 weeks paid vacation and closer to home once my current office moves downtown.
So, I'll be moving to a firm that specializes in schools, gov't buildings, churches, public transit facilities etc. Far cry from multi billion $$ projects like Canary Wharf, Pearson Airport, World Trade Center re-development but its time for a change.
heh, it just hit me....after 6 years of rewarding employment, my life gets a bigggg shakeup.
*bottoms up!*

Heh, ironically, Adamson Associates does all of the upgrade work at Square One, that whole CitySide addition was designed by MMC and Adamson was the executive architects.
Thanks for the props though, gonna be hard to tell my office I'm leaving. They've been good to me

Ya, that is true, but MMC took over, AA is not involved anymore...bigger fish to fry, there is like 5 project alone in Manhattan we're doing.
Come to think of it, I'll appreciate smaller projects

Thanks Don!
I hope this one goes well...no reason why it shouldn't. I've been searching for templates on proper resignation letters.
I give notice on Friday.
