I saw a black GTO yesterday. They're the most beautiful new car I've ever seen. I would take a new GTO over an F-body any day, maybe pick one over any other brand new car that I can think of.
I only wish they were bigger, like Grand Prix or better yet, Bonneville-sized. They are a bit small at only the size of a Grand Am. I don't feel safe having all that power in a pint-sized car.

I would wait till the 2005 hits with 400 horse LS2 and also the nice hood scoopes as well as the better lower air damn. The wheels are FUGLY. That will not change for about another year. The look like a sunfire on steriods!

They are ugly, and while the performance is there, the styling is not deserving of the GTO badge...

I agree on all those points...however when they come out with the 400hp version, there will be one sitting in place of the SSEi in our garage, a 6 speed that is blue/blue, so I'm not gonna try to be a hypocrite. They are nice cars, and really there isn't anything wrong with them once you get over the ugly factor, the only real major problem I see is that they put the GTO badge on it. But maybe thats just my destorted view 'cause its gonna be the SSEi'* replacement. (however we are keeping the SSEi as it will be the "winter beater," which is a shame IMO that a '00 SSEi is a winter beater...but thats my parents for you) I saw a completely stock one dyno 308whp which as you might notice is less than 8whp less than the GTP...and thats stock, so imagine what they would do with a couple mods.

Especially since my dealership has 10 of them and will be selling them at GM supplier pricing just to try and get rid of them!
