Your Right on the Poison song, in my "collection" I have it from the Swallow This album dated 1991. Good call on it!!

My main problem with the terabyte is iTunes is having problems at times searching the library so I may have to make them according to genre.

I haven't even attempted to load all of my vintage stuff to MP3 format yet. I think my hands would fall off if I attempted to type all of it out too. "albertschmitz", you sir are a brave and dedicated soul. Thanks for the flash backs. =D

Use iTunes change the settings from AAC to mp3 and it will do all of the album, artist, album cover, songs for you Hell I couldn't have typed all of that info. BTW when you are done doing it, ghost the drive so that you have a backup. I had 200gb done and the disc fried. Not a good day at the Schmitz household. I was lucky I lived in the country at the time; if I was in town the neighbors would have been a little concerned with the hard drive was flying through the air. Sure made me feel better.

You are welcome for the flashback kudos, I was thinking when I first read the thread that all of the 80'* sucked so I had to hit the iTunes, make a smart list and found a ton of gems as I listed. Brought back some great memories and thoughts of a youth misspent. Oh well I lived through it.

Hmmm..I'd have to think of a list, but I love 80'* music. it'* what I grew up on. I remember when MTV debuted. It actually used to show music videos

Looks like there are some great songs mentioned here.

Course, some of these are really early 90'*, but same difference.

When I was a teen big hair bands were in their hey day, so I saw all the greats in concert, 5th row center. (Had a friend who'* dad worked all the shows) Poison, Def Leopard, Slaughter, Warrant, Skid Row you name it)

COurse, Metal was great too, Megadeth was awesome, and that was before, IMO, Metallica sold out.

And, Ozzy'* No More Tears album kicked butt, and Queensryche was cool too.

Also, I did love all the pop music too, the first cassette I ever bought was Bangels, DIffernet Light (Walk Like an Egyptian)

80'* rap was great too, back when it was fun. Yo MTV raps anyone?
