bah...still overpriced.

Apple Macbook Air:
3.0lbs
0.76inches thick
1.6ghz processor
13.3" LED Screen
2GB Ram
80GB Hard Drive
USB Superdrive
Integrated Webcam
$1898

Dell XPS M1330
3.97lbs
0.87 inches thick
1.6ghz processor
13.3" LED Screen
2GB Ram
120GB Hard Drive
Internal DVD-RW Drive
Integrated Webcam
$1249

the mac does not have a changeable battery, it uses a lithium polymer battery so after 1-2 years it will only have half its life. plus it is non-replaceable from what I understand...

Even with the Price difference, I work with PC'*(dells) all day long that are "comparable" to my mac pro at home. When I get on my Mac Pro its a whole different world, WAY better operating system (especially against vista) and I dont have to worry about all the errors you get on a PC that alone saves me tons of time and time is money. The $500 dollars is way worth it Plus according to dells website Its 1349 not to mention a pound lighter and what about 8% thinner, Apples world class customer service the iLife software which is the best consumer stuff in the market by a long shot. This book is for people that want the smallest and best ;looking thing on the market and You have it here with the Macbook Air. The battery is replacable by the way. You have your opinion and I have mine

You walk around with a Dell and everyone knows you're a cheap bastard (with a crappy computer). You walk around with a Mac, and boom...you've got style and class.

Edit: and I agree with everything GXP_vince says. Also, comparing statistics isn't everything since you do leave some stuff out, and it'* definitely biased.

That'* is PHENOMENALLY thin!

I wonder why they didn't call it the iPaper? Or the iSplint? Or the iRazerBlade? Or the iMachete? I can go on and on

I still think the XPS 1330 looks cooler
