show me a man
"show me a man whos gentle and kind, and ill show you a loser"
truer words have never been spoken, nor has any statement been more proven to me by the women in my life [disregarding the important women in my life: mother and fiancee]
btw, i proposed almost a month ago. forgot to post that, i guess. she agreed with my proposition.

Its always kinda nice when they agree to that.
Wisest words I live by:
"If you've done something right, no one will notice you did anything at all"
Sounds pessimistic but its very true.

thats only half of it. the nice guy finishes last because he stopped to help the no2 guy who had a pulled hamstring, got pushed over by the no3 guy, trampled on by no4-no10, then the crowd booed him because he muttered an oath under his breath when, upon getting up, realised that his left leg was broken in three places and fell back down. while crawling to the finish line (because he was running for a charity, if he didnt finish, the charity wouldnt get any money) the administrators of the run decided they didnt want to wait on him and started traffic back up. you can see how the story ends.
eventually, his battered and bloody carcass would make its way across the finish line, but no one cared by that point.
