Default Unfaithful mate...what to do?

I have a dilemna with my best friend and i was hoping maybe you all could give your thoughts on it...

My best friend suspects that her man is cheating on her. She doesnt have any proof except for her gut feeling. But there is a catch...

the catchy part...
she is pretty much in the same relationship situation as i am in where we are both dealing with long distant relationships except shes not pregnant. My hun (kennginn) has been gone for about 6 or 7 months and i've pretty much gotten adjusted to him being away (the hardest adjustment yet especially since i'm pregnantand there have been my days when i've had my suspiscions as well, but i have nipped those in the butt really quick with him and he knows what to expect from me as i do of him...so i have no issues and better not have any ); however, her man has only been gone for about 3 months (he left due to family reasons where he had to return home and he wont be back for a while). Of course because this is a long distance relationship, it will be difficult to prove if he is cheating.

she says he doesnt act the way he used to...he doesnt call her as much as he used to and when he does its a hi and bye conversation, he'* very cautioous of who calls him at certain times (like when they're visiting each other), and he'* very touchy about certain things of his...all of these are traits he never expressed before.

They have been together for about2 1/2 years and shes told me numerous of times that they plan to get married once he gets back but she has those doubts and is afraid to tell him because shes afraid of what his reaction would be especially since she has no proof. I told her to just voice her concern to him without accusing him (but for her that is very difficult).

so what should she do?

I totally agree, I worked at a job where no word of a lie it was the exact same thing every day so after a while I was calling just for the sake of calling. Irrational behaviour could be many reasons, she could be right and it could be cheating but if its family problems that could also be the factor in the mood change

Tell her not to sweat it. He could just be going through a lot. Most men don't like to tell their lady what they are going through. She just needs to hang in there.
