I think it should be ok...do you have an aftermarket tranny cooler? That would be me suggestion first off.

How far are you towing the trailer? If its just out to the bush then take it easy and you'll be fine.
btw you can check your towing rating in the owners manual or in tech info.

It should but for me, an extra tranny cooler would be an absolute must.

My cousin has towed his sled with a bonneville. I think a sled weighs more than a quad...

well ok here is the story i went and test drive the jeep cherokee(sp) and well i didnt like it. i got a feeling im not gona like a blazer either cuz ive rode in a blazer alot and it didnt seem very quick and it was very sluggish. sooo im back looking at bonneville andi think its destiny but i want something that can tow a quad or 2 cuz i really want to go off roading up at our family cabin and theirs plenty of trails and its on a lake so i want to tow maybe a jet ski.. so if a bonne can tower something that light for about an hour then ill start looking at cars again and cars get better gas milage too.

I tow with my 99.

I regularly tow a double-place jet ski trailer, with 2 SeaDoos, 140 miles one way to the family cottage. I make the trip several times in the summer. It does great. I keep the speeds low and drive in "3" opposed to Drive. I don't have a tranny cooler, but I keep the speeds low and drive sensibly.

Install a trans temp gauge first. Get an idea of the temps without towing, then do it again towing (with the trans cooler). Might be an eye opener for you. My trans temps spike when towing.
