Arlington firm to give Tillman'* jersey to family
Sgt. Pat Tillman wore two uniforms that Americans will always remember: the Army fatigues in which he died, and the NFL jersey he sacrificed first.
Now, some North Texans intend to make sure his family gets one of those treasures.

I have a bit of a beef here. Yes he died and its tragic but what makes him different from anybody else who dies over there. MSN has articles, news agency'* have stories etc. all have huge stories on him. IS it because he is a celebrity??? are they more important?? they are making this big deal how he quit football to go fight yeah well alot of other guys have left jobs AND families to go fight. Is it such a big deal cause he left something that was paying him millions?? if so that is pretty sad. I just find it diheartening how this is getting so much attention meanwhile hundreds of American soldiers have died but they are not in the news media they are just a number in the new report.

I saw a editerol (sp) in the paper today that expressed how 9-11 was a more imprortant number to Tillman than $4,000,000. Sure he'* getting more attn than most, but in the end he will not get more space than anyone else who died on what ever monument is erected for this war.

In my opinion its sad. The use of patriotism must be used with a sense of reality. To die for our countrymen is an honarable thing, but to die for someone else'* may be foolish.

True, but we did not get in to it till we where attacked. USA had a long standing feeling of leave us alone. After getting dragged in to a 2nd world war we changed to fight it over there. 9/11 showed again what a lack of real action can lead to. So once again we are taking the fight to them. I've like to see the same amt of fuss that Tillman got with the 2 Sailors that died that where based near me but they did not. I still think it'* a good thing to say that he is remembered doing his duty instead of wussing up north or taking a tackle.

I would not spill one drop of American blood in a foreign fight that is the responsibility of it'* own people. If the people of Iraq wanted rule change, then this operation should have been a cakewalk. But it'* not. I wonder why? Operations in Afghanistan is another story. The freaks that concocted 9-11 are based there. These people need to be terminated by the bushel. But I wont confuse that with the political policy change in Iraq. Two diffrent issues that our leaders have tried to bring under one cause.
Dont take me wrong< I dont like the mideval level of thinking concerning religion and politics these people do, but I wont hold the attitude that of forcing a better way on them. By the way, we did not win the war with germany. In my opinion, that credit goes to russia. Read the history concerning the ' malta conference'. Japan was defeated by two new state of the art fission devices. If God had anything to do with that, then, Thank God for the bomb........

Look at what they did to Jessica Lynch. What did she really do??? They made her a celebrity and all she did was get captured. The real celebrities are the men and women that fought to save her and others and are out there risking their lives for the common good and like Rosco the Iroc said we didn't get into all of this until we were attacked in our own backyard.
