GM V6 3.6L DOHC
Seems like the 3.6L DOHC V6 is going to be installed in alot of GM cars/SUVs. I think 3800 series will be phased out soon, even from Buick. This seems to be a decent engine. Anyone have one of the cars and care to comment?

I never understood the multi-brand concept. If GM is using the same engine/chassis, why not just make one GOOD QUALITY car instead of three cheap variants. I mean, mass produce one good car will lower the overall cost of manufacturing. Instead of three slightly different bumpers, they can just purchase one and get good price for it, right?!

I think the 3800 series is the worst engine to ever be used, I have a 3800 series 3.8l v6 and have maintained it well. But it always seems like something is always going wrong with it. I'm thinking about doing an engine swap on mine along with the tranny
