Default Anyone in or near Wilmington, NC?

If so, I am interested in moving there. I know some family there, and haven't been there. How is the city crimewise? Is the cost of living fairly average? How about the weather? Is it warm, does it snow? Let me know!

warm??? ... in the summer you will simply ROAST. I've a friend 300miles north, in Richmond VA and we made the mistake of visiting him in August last year. If the 90+ degrees don't get ya , the near 100% humidity will. It took my friend a year just to adjust to the temperature down there. Now he'* cold when it gets below 70 - LOL

As for snow, he called this morning and said they had 2 inches which is the most he'* seen in 2 winters down there. Normally he says if it snows, it doesn't stick around but there'll still be a ton of accidents.

hope this helped.

Just what I want! I love the heat, I don't mind it, and OMG little to no snow, also what I want. I just don't want to move any further south, as I don't like the big palmetto roach bugs.

I honestly can't stand NC. It'* hot, humid, flat, and boring. Wilmington is okay, nothing too big. There'* a coast guard cutter and the USS North Carolina there. The only place in NC I like is the outer banks.
