This video explains exactly what I would love to have. You can't go wrong with one of these. But of course a stock one would be just fine because there isn't alot of cars out there that can match the performance for the price that car can but one (new Z06) comes very close.
Be sure no little ones around ( a bit of langauge)

I guess if somebody handed me a checkbook with an unlimited balance, I would start with a replica AC Cobra, then build an aluminum block 427, fuel injection, with a vortech blower. Then spend the rest on life insurance...my wife might as well cash in if I end up a dark splat on the back of a tractor-trailer.

Late 70s to early 80s GM stepside pickup, 4x4 of course
Something like this, just not lifted as much, but I would go with the orange
Enough suspension lift to fit 35" tires without rubbing
Squeeze in a 8.1 Vortec, supercharge it of course mated to a 6 speed Allison Transmision

Supercharged motors aren't the best for off-roading, a turbo would be better. Better yet, use the 6.6L Duramax deisel, and throw a bigger turbo on it along with other upgrades.

1991 Daytona IROC R/T. Start with a 2.2L 16V Turbo III motor with 224hp. Rebuild the motor for a relatively easy 450-475hp. Add a Quaife limited slip to the tranny and Booger Bushings to the shifter cables. Custom coil-over springs up front and a custom built INDEPENDENT rear suspension, using 2nd gen Stratus coupe parts. If at all possible, track down the long rumored All-Wheel-Drive A555 transmission and add THAT. EBC pads in Baer 6-piston calipers up front, 2 piston in the rear, behind 18 TSW Venoms wearing 235/35/zr18 Michelin Pilot MMXs.
Oh, and add a tiny lit bit of more padding to the lower lumbar area of the seats, they never feel right for me.
