My *Lasik photos....caution may look sick
All this talking back and forth with Bill made me dig up some of my *Lasik photos to share with you guys. My wife was in the waiting room with my phone and took some photos for me. Pretty cool they had a high def TV in there for the guests to view while the 36 sec per eye procedure went on.
It smelled like burning hair ever so faintly when they where correcting my vision.
I do have video to but can't seem to get it off of my phone right now so these photos will do for now to give you an idea of my *Lasik.
My wife was crying in the back round in the video because she was so freaked out when they cut my eye. She thought I was going to be blind. All though when you see the flap they cut laying down, my vision was very blurry. It was like having vision one sec than they took it away the next. But in the end it was very worth it!
Oh the camera phone I had at the time was only 1.3 mega pixels so the photos are not the greatest but you'll get the gist of it.
Been 1 year 1 month 20 days now. 20/15 both eyes FTW! Enjoy!

In my thirty+ years of being a firefighter/EMT there are two tings that still give me the quivers - eye injuries and injuries to the 'boys'. These photos aren't too bad. Now...I watched my Dad get a cornea transplant....that made me curl my nose and squint my eyes.

I had to have some metal splinters removed from my eye many years back. From where I was sitting it looked like they were coming at me with a ice cream scoop. I can't even describe the sound I heard as they scooped the splinters out. And the room was distorted because they were pushing and pulling my eye so much. I passed out. Later my friends said, if it'* so bad, why didn't you look away? Hello, tell me how.
