the van rules the world!!!!
this weekend i was back in windom to see some old friends... around 8pm on friday night we had stopped at a friends house, i was driving the van...
i shut the motor off and then turned off the headlights... at the EXACT millisecond that i shut the headlights off, the ENTIRE town of windom lost electricity... it was truely the most bizarre thing that has happened to me.. the chances are 1 in none... the power was off for 1.5 and as far as i know, nobody knows why...
after the power went out, the ONLY lights on in town were headlights, there wasnt even traffic lights or anything
the hospital was runniing off a generator, but that was pretty close to the edge of town...
i cant even imagine what it was like when the east coast lost power back then...
