Nice looking car. Everytime I see one of these I'm reminded of when this older lady came into my office. My co-worker was trying to quote her auto insurance. When asked what she had she said it was a gooley. My co-worker was still kind of new and was looking all over the rate book for this vehicle. She finally went outside to look at it and came back in and said "Ma'am it is a 6000 LE."

Sorry about bringing up an old thread, but I just wanted to clarify some misinformation.
AWD production numbers:
'88 - 124 STEs (AWD was an option)
'89 - 1,376 STEs (AWD was standard)
'90 - Unknown SEs (production numbers were not separated from FWD model. 5599 total SEs)
Every AWD 6000 came with the 3.1MPFI V6 (the '88 AWD STE was the first GM to use a 3.1). They also all used a modified version of the same THM125C 3-speed trans that came in the FWD models. '89 was the last year for the STE package on the 6000, as that trim package was moved to the Grand Prix, which Pontiac was trying to push at that time.
